Kenneth Wisinski

Background

After obtaining an Engineering degree from Kettering University (founded as General Motors Institute), I joined the Toyota Product Engineering group in North America.  There, I absorbed the Toyota way from brilliant teacher-colleagues throughout the organization.  I then applied that knowledge at tier 1 parts suppliers allowing me to assimilate many functional disciplines across global cultures.  As a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean practitioner, I continuously look for ways to improve every system.

As a Program Management expert, I have run global projects with $30M budgets and $100M annual revenue targets.  I am a Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I).

I was born and raised as a Motown car guy.  Working over 30 years at 2 OEM’s and 3 Tier 1 Suppliers, I was always driven (see what I did there?) by the importance of communication & information flow through a company and across functions.  I used the global nature of that industry to work cross culturally in Asia, Europe, and South America.

Position in S A Partners

I am a Senior Consultant focused mainly on the Shingo Journey, Enterprise Excellence, Improvement Skills, Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM), and Project Management.

Outside work

Married without children, my wife and I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan which we refer to as 28 square miles surrounded by reality.  We maintain an active lifestyle that includes travel, food, hiking, art, and architecture.  Whenever possible, I cycle with the local clubs and I’m a fan of UCI races.
