The Improvement Coach (2A) Lean Sigma Black Belt is designed for your departmental or operational leaders. Those that need to be able to manage business system level change programmes. Companies that have deployed this training can expect to see up to 15% reduction in costs and significant productivity improvements.
What is covered in the course?
This course can be delivered either virtually or in-house and takes 12-24 months to complete. The course will provide advanced lean knowledge and leadership competencies required for lean management.
What level of benefit should we expect?
Individual is capable of leading system level change- delivering programmes that are capable of achieving >15% improvement in costs, customer service, compliance, colleague satisfaction, colleague capability or capacity.

Departmental leaders who want who want to deliver system level improvement. The course provides the essential people and process skills, so enabling sustainable system transformation.
What commitment should an organisation make?
We would recommend that organisation train 2% of their people in this product and ensure individuals have at least 100% of their time dedicated to improvement.

Approach & Certification
The content is developed using the 70:20:10 learning framework (see below), and from our prize-winning publications and thought leadership case studies and white papers. Certification is issued by the Lean Competency System (LCS) which is approved by Cardiff University.
