Business Mentoring in the Community

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, we support a number of local communities and charitable organisations.

In 2017, we are pleased to announce that one of our team will be providing mentoring support for local businesses and start-ups in the Powys, Wales.  This service is provided as part of the Welsh Government ‘Business Wales’ Mentoring Service:  https://businesswales.gov.wales/mentoring/

The Programme is for business owners who want help to market or grow their business, implement a change in their business, or need inspiration to help deal with a particular challenge.  It aims to help them improve and expand.   The service is offered free of charge to business owners and is delivered wholly by volunteer Mentors.

Dr. Toni Whitehead completed a PhD in 2009 which focussed on the regional economic development of the priority industrial sectors and supply chains in Wales. Her role within S A Partners is to work with clients to help them develop internal ‘Lean’ capability and to continuously improve and sustain their business.

Having moved to Brecon, Powys over 4 years ago, Toni recognised that the learnings from the PhD study and her role at S A Partners could be applied to support those with small businesses – in the largest county in Wales – having the smallest population – in mostly rural communities.

Toni, supported by S A Partners is very much looking forward to providing mentoring support to small businesses in and around Brecon.
