Leaders around the world have invested a substantial amount of time and money on initiatives that achieve positive results. However, it is hard to maintain and sustain momentum. Each new tool becomes another possible solution or “best practice” only to create confusion that often results in what we call the “sugar high” – a temporary boost in results accompanied by a fleeting feeling of victory. People begin to believe that sustainable solutions are not only elusive, but that each new initiative eventually becomes “flavour-of-the-month” and leaves unfulfilled aspirations.
Achieving Enterprise Excellence and using the Shingo Model™ is not an additional programme or another initiative to implement; rather, it introduces Guiding Principles on which to anchor your current initiatives and to fill the gaps in your efforts towards ideal results and sustainable change.
To meet this demand we have created the very popular Enterprise Excellence Workshops, where students visit award winning companies to learn from the culture and processes embedded into the organisation.
Enterprise Excellence Mod 1 to 4
The course is delivered through a series of highly interactive on-site workshops over a 3 month period, configured to be at rotating sites in Europe & Ireland so that participants benefit from cross-group learning and exposure to a variety of environments. Between each workshop participants will be set homework learning tasks with a group web based tutorial. This course will give you the required skillset to overcome the typical sugar high scenario of ‘Peak and Fall’ improvement that most businesses experience.
What is an Enterprise Excellence Master Class?
The Enterprise Excellence Master Class are 4 modules of 2 days each in the UK, or 4 modules delivered in two 4-day sessions for Ireland. They are delivered through a series of highly interactive on-site workshops.

Enterprise Excellence Mod 5
As in previous modules, the emphasis is on learning about what the system is, testing the approach from both a technical and behavioural perspective in a case company and distilling the learnings both for the case company and your own business.
What is the Enterprise Excellence Master Class Mod 5?
It covers two other important systems, the Reward & Recognition system and the Supply Chain Integration system. These two systems are essential to the achievement of Enterprise Excellence. The Reward & Recognition system has been found to be critical in supporting and encouraging a culture of Continuous Improvement and hence helping to support the sustainability of improvement. The Supply Chain Integration system recognises that no organisation is an island and that to achieve full Enterprise Excellence it is necessary to spread activities into the wider supply chain.
Who is it for?
This course is designed specifically for those delegates who have already attended the Enterprise Excellence Master Class Mod 1 to 4 above. [View workshops]
