About this Course:
Practical focussed, interactive course focussed on providing enhanced problem-solving skills to solve moderately complex improvement projects and to deliver the intended business benefits. The course provides participants with the confidence to deliver change within the organisation that is measurable and sustainable.
The course also includes case study based activities to re-enforce the learning and give practical experience on apply the DMAIC tools.
The course has a strong transactional process flavour and focusses on the participants gaining the necessary skills to successfully deliver their improvement project.
Key Learning Outcomes:
Gain knowledge and develop skills in leading a project team using the DMAIC method and tools to improve processes, solve business problems and deliver sustainable benefits.
How to use the DMAIC methods and tools, and to apply them effectively to solve business benefits.
How to be an effective project team leader and facilitate project team members in the use of DMAIC tools
How to work effectivity with stakeholders and sponsors
Course Duration: 5 days equivalent – delivered over 12 x 3-hour module
Course Delivery: On-line using Microsoft Teams
Entry Requirements: There are no entry requirements although we recommend that each participant attend training with an improvement project.
Certification:
Level – Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LCS 1c)
Accredited by – Lean Competency System
Requirements – attend all modules of training, pass on-line exam, provide 1 x project improvement report
