The Green Belt course builds upon the Yellow Belt and teaches the fundamentals of how to lead ‘team based’ problem solving, successful implementation, control and sustainability of benefits. There is an increasing element of how to lead and manage people (team and wider stakeholder population) through change and CI activities, alignment to strategy and the use of a range of lean/CI tools and techniques appropriate to different types of problems.
The candidate has shown knowledge, understanding and application of lean improvement and implementation techniques. The candidate is able able to actively lead local teams and participate in improvement activities in the workplace.
