Helping Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan Cancer Support

It’s great to see our colleague Mick Moreton, helping Macmillan Cancer Support by undertaking the grueling Sprint Plus Triathlon at Castle Howard in July. The event started with the 800 meter swim, followed by the 46 km bike ride, finishing with the 8 km run. To help his great work, S A Partners also donated £300 to this worthwhile cause.

With 2,500 competitors competing in the atmospheric sporting festival, it was a fitting tribute to its 9 year run.

Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.

As well as helping with the medical needs of people affected by cancer, Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care. Macmillan Cancer Support’s goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer in the UK.

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with cancer, Macmillan can help. Find out what to expect, get information, practical advice and support, hear from experts and read about other people’s experiences.

Congratulations to Mick, and if you’d like to donate to this worthy cause, you can visit the donation page.
