Spreading Christmas Cheer for Cork Simon

John Quirke was again out and about volanteering with Cork Simon over the Christmas period. As well as dontaing €1,000 to this worthy cause, John was out supporting the charity, and spreading Christmas wishes.

‘I am always reminded of how privileged I am; given the security of a home, a job and the ability to support my children’s education.

As I travel both within Ireland and internationally I have been struck by the increasing levels of homelessness. The situation is becoming more acute and desperate.
I am very pleased that S A Partners provide us with the freedom to support our own preferred charity. For me, it is the Cork Simon community. Please do what you can to support the homeless in your own community.’

John Quirk

Cork Simon community are a fantastic organisation working in solidarity with men and women who are homeless in Cork, offering housing and support on their journey back to independent living. As well as financial sponsorship, John Quirke, our Irish MD and head of Life Science, has also offered pro bono services to the charity in order to help them improve the day to day running of the operations.

John highlighted why he chose the charity, saying he chose them because of the essential services they provide to those who have found themselves homeless in the city of Cork.

If you’d like to find out more, or donate to this very worthwhile cause, you can visit the Cork Simon Donation page.
