Global management consulting firm, Booz & Co., recently released some research showing that a striking majority of corporate leaders are not able to keep their priorities straight.
What is interested about the research is that it looked how the connection between strategy, employees and customers affects revenue growth. The research found that in companies where executives said their firms’ expertise supported their strategies, 47% reported above-industry-average revenue growth;while in companies where capabilities only partly supports strategy, 26% reported above-average growth. Where capabilities don’t support strategy at all, only 14% said revenues were growing at an above-average rate.
