This 2-Day Shingo Discover Excellence workshop is the foundational Shingo workshop and introduces the Shingo Model, the Guiding Principles, and the Three Insights of Organisational Excellence.
In this workshop, you will witness firsthand how Shingo principles drive behavior throughout the entire organization to deliver world-class results. This course is accredited and certified by both the Shingo Institute and CPD (Continual Professional Development). You will learn to align your organizational principles and core values with your systems. Group activities are used to help develop skills in assessing alignment and how to address misalignments by embedding your principles into your work and management systems.

Meet your Facilitators
John Quirke has worked in a variety of sectors including electronics, medical devices, pharmaceutical and food. Prior to joining S A Partners, he worked with a number of Blue Chip corporations including J&J and Millipore, with responsibility for Lean Six Sigma implementation across European sites. Mr. Quirke is currently a managing partner for the Irish business and medical device and pharma sectors. With degree studies in chemistry, biology, environmental science and law, Mr. Quirke completed his initial engineering training in Japan with Fujitsu Isotec. He is also a certified master Lean coach with Cardiff University. Mr. Quirke has published two award-winning books, TPM: A Foundation of Operational Excellence (Shingo Publication Award) and Deep Excellence (Lean Business Ireland Publication Award).
