Theme: Leaders as the first system – shaping belief, purpose and mindset
Concepts: Schein (leader as a culture-creator), Covey (principle centred leadership, trust), Ackoff (seeing wholes); Drucker (culture eats strategy)
Workshops: Personal leadership manifesto; Story Circle and Leadership Story Workshop; Gap Analysis; Behavioural Manifestation
Module 2
Shared Story | Shared Culture (from ‘I’ to ‘We’)
Theme: Leadership Community alignment – building a common narrative and cultural foundation
Concepts: Shingo (respect, humility, ideal behaviours); Deming (profound knowledge, psychology of change); Marquet (Intent based leadership); Quirke et al (Deep Excellence – your story in your system structure and impact on behaviours)
Activities: Cultural Archaeology (artifacts/values/assumptions); Defining behaviours that matter; Systems Self-Assessment; Strategy Deployment; Daily/Tiered Management; Improvement Management; Leadership Development; Systems Design; Excellence Roadmap
Module 3
Designing Systems for Excellence (Making it Real)
Theme: Embedding beliefs into systems and frontline behaviours
Concepts: Deming (problems are mostly systemic); Ackoff (purposeful system design); Shingo (align systems; tools; results); Drucker (Turn values into practice); Quirke et al (Deep Excellence)
Activities: System Mapping; Behaviour to System Design Excellence Roadmap (90 day actions; one belief to reinforce, one story to tell, one system to influence); Understanding your voice and use of language; Your individual Voiceprint.

Onsite Training: Two immersive days (2 × 7-hour sessions) hosted at Scottish Water, combining case studies, interactive activities, and practical exercises.
